BIRTHDAY SHOWS!! A Snakes-N-Scales birthday is a unique experience. Our shows are thematic so you can choose which show your family prefers or have us back many times and not see the same show! We use jokes, stories, "animal's eyes" views of the world, anecdotes, factoids, question and answer and a gentle, controlled, touching experience to make children laugh, think and feel. They will touch the animal so they will feel it's reality and hopefully someday, when they look back on this birthday, remember and understand that these creatures are our neighbors on Earth. FISH TALES AND OCEAN ODD BALLS is our newest, most unique show. It includes live animals such as the underwater strongman the starfish, the peaceful but spiny sea urchin, the ancient and mysterious horseshoe crab, and the home designer’s nightmare, the decorator crab. Each of these are touchable and have no ability to hurt anyone. This show also includes some true fish, "the sharp bellied clown knife fish, the weird, whiskered, Amazonian arawana and the predator of the lake, the gar, (true fish are not touchable.)" The show will be presented over the course of an hour using our brand of jokes, stories and “animals’ eye views” discussing what it’s like to live in the water, how these animals find food, and avoid becoming food. This show will look at these incredible creatures in a fun and hands-on, very interactive way to find the fun facts about these wonderful water creatures. Then for special treat everyone will always remember, add an additional half hour for watching, feeding and safely, touching a live stingray as it "flies" around the inside of our portable pool. Most of these animals can be touched under the watchful eyes of our instructor. We might bring lizards like a Bearded Dragon, or a Blue-Tongued Skink, or maybe a Leopard Gecko; for turtles you might meet a Box Turtle, African Tortoise or Red-foot Tortoise, a big Boa Constrictor or an amazing Burmese Python will represent the snakes, and as something only Snakes-N-Scales can bring to you, a baby Alligator. (Though Alligators, due to their expense, are extra.) Only the Snakes-N-Scales teacher can touch the Alligator but you can see it very closely! We'll talk about the specialties of each and what they eat, joke about things they do and find out if these creatures make good pets.  Or, if you’re in an Amphibian mood, ask us to bring a frog and a toad! Observe each of these animals live, and find out which predator is the most successful, which is the most resourceful, the largest, the fastest, the smartest, which is the most dangerous to us and which are we the most dangerous to. Look through the animals’ eyes, as Travis and Bill use their years of experience to give the audience unique and unusual points of view Learn about the predators habits and habitats, their ecology and their personalities, all while enjoying these two entertainers’ antics and skill. This way if your party doesn’t have a means of getting everyone in one place people could enjoy as they go. This would always involve the ability to touch the snakes, lizards and turtles but people could choose how much, or little they wished to do. The animals for this show maybe chosen  specifically by you or you can leave it to us to surprise you. You may also want photos of yourself and guests touching the animals.
