BLACK MAMBA

| The business end of a Black Mamba, which is actually grey. The black mouth interior has purportedly chased away lions and rhinos, and well they should run! Lions have been found dead from mambas and I wouldn't bet on the rhino's survival. Humans, having been bitten, can die in 15 mins. Yet with this nuclear weapon of the animal world, frightened mambas have been seen hiding their heads in their coils, presenting their tail as a head! |
| What this says to me is that we don't understand what constitutes a reason for aggression in many animals. We tend to think that they will do as we do, and that's rarely the case. |
