ANIMAL SPONSORSHIP |
Snakes-N-Scales rescues about 90% of it's animals from other people. Sometimes we get them directly from people, sometimes from local shelters or police, sometimes from the environment where they were loosed and don't belong, or sometimes we even purchase animals from shows or stores that no one wants. These animals are sometimes in perfect health and sometimes they live but a few hours before dying. You can see many of our success stories in out programs but there are animals that have permanent homes here that aren't suitable for programs.

The above animals are now available to sponsor or "adopt." Which means you may choose a package below and in a real sense, "make this animal your own." This animal adoption program is NOT a request for a donation but a sale of a package specializing in a particular animal. Depending on the level you choose, you may be able to meet the specific animal you adopt. Which is very different, and much more personal, than any other adoption program.

Whatever their status they still take up room, need care, food and absorb both time and resources. When Bill began Snakes-N-Scales he decided not to make it a non-profit organization so we offer programs for purchase and do not solicit donations.
You may not take this purchase as a tax deduction, but you may be proud and pleased to know that it has helped us bring a longer and better life to a group of animals that many regard as either dangerous, unpleasant or even disgusting. We, of course, disagree, we think they're amazing, intriguing and fantastic. That's why we have devoted our lives to the betterment of theirs. And we thank you, from the bottom of our "cold" little hearts.
