This show brings the biggest reptiles in any show within 200 miles, truly our WOW show.
It also usually brings our herpetologist, and founder

Bill Boesenberg

himself to your event. The “WOW” can come from watching
a nearly 100 lb America Alligator, “Blue,” sit in Bill’s lap, like a great black puppy; or from a 6 ft Water Monitor Lizard, “Elizardbeth,” hangout and sniff the air with her foot long tongue, while everyone laughs at the story of how she came to us; or you might be “Wowed” by getting to touch the beautiful gentle giant, “Hernia,” a 100 lb Burmese Python.

"I think you have a fantastic group of animals and do some of the best presentations and lectures I have ever seen." Mike Paitchell, NJ Science Festival Coordinator

Most of these animals can be touched under the watchful eyes of our instructor. We might bring lizards like a Bearded Dragon, or a Blue-Tongued Skink, or maybe a Leopard Gecko. for turtles you might meet a Box Turtle, African Tortoise or
a Red-foot Tortoise. Representing the snakes we have all manner of Kingsnakes, Corn Snakes, Rat Snakes and Milksnakes. The finale will be a big Boa Constrictor or an amazing Burmese Python. And as something only Snakes-N-Scales can bring to you, a rescued baby American Alligator. We'll talk about the specialties of each and what they eat,
joke about things they do and find out if these creatures make good pets.

This is a similar program to what our competitors offer, similar sized animals and species--

Though we use bigger pythons and have a greater depth of animal choice.

But we now offer it at a reduced price!!

Prices lowered to help with the budget cuts the libraries have experienced.

This is a unique program to Snakes-N-Scales. It may include invertebrate animals such as the underwater strongman the Starfish, the peaceful but spiny Sea Urchins, the patient and still Sponge, the Red, White and Blue Patriot Crab, or the amazing Blue Lobster. Most of these are touchable and have no ability to hurt anyone. Also included are several of the following fish, the speed demon of the tropics, Clown Knife Fish; the snake-like predator the Moray Eel; the freshwater bully, the Oscar; the fish everyone fears, the piranha; or everyone’s favorite lost fish, the Clown Fish, (just like in the movie!)
(True fish are not touchable.)

This show will be presented over the course of an hour using our brand of jokes,
stories and “animals’ eye views discussing what it’s like to live in the water,
how these animals find food and avoid becoming food.
This show will look at these incredible creatures in a fun hands-on,
very interactive way to find the fun facts about these wonderful denizens
of the deep and shallows.

This program includes the use of our new “magna-video camera,” (see photo inset) that will display for all to see, the smallest details of some of the smaller animals.

And now the shark activity is already included for you!

Bugs and spiders along with frogs and snakes are thought to be “icky”
by many people. But the amazing animals in this show will make you
forget your discomfort! The Madagascar Hissing Cockroach
is just a lot of air and really nothing to be afraid of. He’s even
touchable. Tarantulas are actually hairy, peace loving creatures,
and scorpions glow in the dark, (yes really!)Frogs swallow
with their eyes and toads have poisonous skins. And the snakes have
no eye lids, replaceable teeth, a skull with hinges, they live nearly
everywhere, eat everything from deer to fish to alligators and
have over 3000 different kinds!
Everyone will be laughing so hard and learning so much they’ll all
forget what they were afraid of!

Travel in your mind with us, to the world’s shrinking  tropical rain forests and look at what is causing its creatures to become extinct. Meet reptiles and amphibians: like the oddly named Carpet Python, that lives in trees, not on the floor; the poisonous Cane Toad that is supposed to live someplace else; the bright and curious Water Monitor Lizard; and of course the big and beautiful Burmese Python. These animals are trying to survive the changes that we are producing in these amazing places. Education is the first step to the understanding of a problem, learn what we can all do to make this a better world and come be a part of the solution!'

Snakes are the most feared animals on Earth, yet in spite of this, or perhaps because of it, they are a very popular group of animals to watch, study or own.

This show looks at some very different kinds of non-venomous snakes; one from the trees that catches birds, one from under ground that eats mice and one from the water that eats everything!; one they call “king,” though he doesn't deserve it and one they say likes cows! And a giant snake that is one of the biggest of them all.

We’ll talk about how they live with no legs, one lung, and no eye lids, what they eat, and what they don't eat, and why so many people go screaming into the night when they see one!

Because they are all

Fasssssscinating Sssssnakesssss!
