![]() Some reptiles don’t need rescuing…they do it themselves!!! "Sandy" ![]() Dumped on a local nature center's doorstep, covered in sand and infested with mites, this beautiful snake was thought to be an Albino Burmese Python by everyone, including me, at first glance. But once I rinsed off the offending sand I realized she was a rarer prize, an Albino Reticulated Python. So we treated her for mites and fed her. We keep her isolated until we're sure she's healthy and doing well, then we'll start to handle her and get her ready for her program debut. That first appearance might be back where we got her, at the nature center.
