A word about what you see here from Bill…

First, everything written about these animals will be, to the best of my research, factual. If there is an occasional opinion expressed, it will be labeled as such.

Second, all the animals on the “Our Animals,” pages are species that live now or have lived at Snakes-N-Scales. For variety and for interest level, there are animals that are listed here that are long gone and will not be back, like the venomous species we discuss.

Third, not all the photos are of the exact individuals that live here. When this is possible to do, it is done, but photographic artistry isn’t our mission here, so there are borrowed photos of some species. If the animal has a personal name, like “Blue,” then those photos will be only of that particular animal.

Lastly, as I always tell you, “These animals have no ability to love us,” but we can assure you that we love them! They are our children, we rescued them, nursed them, raised them, fed them and checked on them everyday for their entire lives while living with us.

They are precious to us!
