"Endangered Species"
Corn Snake
Corn Snake
Corn snakes lived in the great pine forests that started in Georgia and ran north up to Massachusetts. Today, most of those forests are gone and so are most of the corn snakes. Non-venomous and shy, these snakes are hunted as pets because they are so beautiful and they are pushed out when people move in. Endangered species may not be kept as pets in New Jersey. If you wish to have a corn snake as a pet, it must be an albino. We are lucky in NJ to have so much pine forest left. We believe it is very important to save all that is left.

"Croc at Rest"
Nile Crocodile
Crocodile

This is Ainu. One of the two baby nile crocodiles we adopted from someone who had them illegally. All Crocodillians are illegal to have in the state of NJ.  We are the only company that is licensed to have them and to be able to use them in educational shows. He is named for an ancient Middle eastern god. His brother (we actually aren't sure what their sex is) is named Ra, from ancient Egypt.

"Goin' for a Dip"Crocodile
Crocodiles are one of the most dangerous animals to people, but if you'd like to see the most dangerous animal to all life on Earth, go look in the mirror! The next time you see something on TV about how dangerous crocodiles are, remember that mosquitoes are still more dangerous than all the crocodiles, snakes, sharks, lions, tigers and bears, (Oh my!) COMBINED!!!
